Poster Show: MarieLyne Tarabulsy (June 8, Casa del Popolo)

June 2, 2010

(français ci-bas)
MarieLyne Tarabulsy is a venue bartender, a venue owner and artist in the Montreal music scene.
Specializing in rock’n’roll art, her posters are one of the 3 ways she pays homage to the music around her. After paintings and a series of sewing projects including a 9 ft x 9 ft quilt and re-usable record bags, all made from used and vintage band t-shirts, she went back to her first love, the concert poster. This series is a collection of her works over the last 2 years.

Rainy, but not idle…

July 27, 2009

Well, it rained today, but we at D&D Montreal were not idle. Some lovely sketching took place in Casa del Popolo, and the warrior location drawing session will be postponed until late August when it might just be summer.

Thanks to everyone who came out, and don’t forget to send in your drawings from the day!
